Marius Eisele
Hello, I'm Marius Eisele
Ecological Researcher & Bioinformatician
I explore the intricate interplay of biodiversity and population dynamics through the fusion of genomic and observational data, creating models that offer vital insights for ecosystem conservation.
My research is conducted within the Ecology and Evolution in Islands group at IPNA-CSIC, under the auspices of the Momentum program.

About Me
Driven by a passion for understanding ecosystems, I've spent the past years combining field research with cutting-edge data analysis. Beyond simply analyzing data, I'm actively working to refine and improve the algorithms used to filter the large amounts of data and estimate biodiversity. This includes exploring and integrating various AI approaches to enhance accuracy and robustness, aiming to generate more accurate and robust diversity estimates from our ecological studies.
I believe in the power of science to help us understand and protect our natural world, and I'm passionate about creating research that contributes to conservation efforts and ecological understanding.
